JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Associate is responsible for cleaning, cash control, meeting sales goals, locking and securing building and any other responsibilities that are implemented such as Sales Associate must gain and maintain knowledge of the tanning process, tanning packages and all tanning products. Sales Associate will be responsible for counting and controlling inventory and cash for their shift. Sales Associate must report for their shifts on time. Sales Associate must meet/exceed specific sales goals set forth by upper management. Sales Associate must provide excellent and consistent customer service to all clients. Managers will be expected to develop and implement programs to meet sales projections and profitability objectives. He/She must make sure that the salon operates at maximum efficiency by understanding the product line and customers, will maintain an open line of communication with employees, and will work closely with upper management to insure that company's objectives are met. Compensation based on experience. Duties Include: 1. Increase salon productivity with continual monitoring and measuring of performance levels and standards. Motivated to increase net sales, department productivity and profitability. 2. Responsible for all customer correspondence; respond to all customer phone calls, inquiries, requests and complaints in order to maintain or improve company levels of customer service. 3. Manage employees in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Duties included are: interviewing, hiring, training; planning, assigning, monitoring, motivating and directing work. Set individual as well as group objectives. Evaluate work performance and conduct formal reviews for staff. Responsible for maintaining group morale and resolving staff grievances. Develop and manage individual and weekly group meetings with employees. Insure efficient organization in staff scheduling to accommodate employees. 4. Identify and pursue sales opportunities in order to increase revenue. Develop and administer sales programs and goals to meet sales objectives.
